8/12/18 A switch hitter that starts in a balance setup. Physical kid with impressive bat speed. Unique swing but works for him. Ball really jumps of barrel, showing a ton of raw power in there. Was on the ground more than we saw him at TPG but contact was still loud. From the left he shows a similar look mechanically while maintaining most natural tools. Pull side tendencies with gap abilities. Looks to be more natural from the right. First baseman with the frame for the spot. Athletic kid over there that gets off the bag well. Also worked out behind the dish where he a physical frame for the spot. Arm is average strength wise with present accuracy. More projectable at first base currently. More than adequate ball skills for the position. Pop Times: 2.12-2.25 Catcher Velocity: 72 Infield Velocity: 77 Exit Velocity: 87 H-1st: 4.6
6/6/18 A switch-hitter who stood out for his raw power from the right side. Swing is unique but works for him. Super physical with natural lift to stroke. Absolutely launched moonshots to pull side in BP. Out of ten swings he hit four out in BP. To put that in perspective there were 8 BP home runs total in the event, four belonging to Crane. Time will tell if he stays behind the dish or makes first base home at the next level but that raw power rivals most in his class. 60-yard dash: 6.96 Pop Times:1.98-2.04 Catcher Velocity: 72 Infield Velocity: 79 Exit Velocity: R91, L89
6/20/17 A right-handed hitter that starts in a wider setup. Initiates his lower half through a leg lift. Does a nice job of gathering his weight prior to transfer. Hands are simple and get the bat to a strong launch position. Path is slightly uphill and his strength stands out. Somewhat raw mechanically but the natural tools are obvious. Some of the more raw power at the event. Behind the plate he starts in a mid crouch. Footwork is quick and exchange skills are above average. Arm slot is lower than ideal for position but the ball gets there in a timely fashion. Home to First: 4.55 Catcher Velocity: 72 Pop Time: 1.98-2.14 Exit Velocity: 91
2/15/17 A righty swinger that starts in a wider setup. Uses very little gather before his stride forward. Hands stay simple prior to taking a downhill path to the baseball. Somewhat raw mechanically, but has impressive natural tools. A strong kid with a very fast bat. Has all the tools to hit for extra base hits. Starts in a low crouch behind the plate. Showed average transfer skills with some quickness to his footwork. Would like to see him get in line to second base as he has a tendency to drive to his left side during transfer. In the infield he uses direct footwork and fields the baseball in the middle of his body. Footwork is athletic and fluid for the most part. Would be aided by fielding the baseball out in front of his body more consistently. Glove skills are adequate. A corner infield type. At first base he showed well above average athleticism and feel for the position. Glove works much better from first base. Looks to be an above average defender at the position.

7/26/16 6-foot-4, 195-pound projectable frame. Ran a 7.3 60-yard dash. At the plate he starts in a wider setup before his small leg lift load. His hands stay simple before taking a flat path to the ball. Showed solid strength through contact and had a top exit velocity of 83 mph. At first base he gets off the bag well and has above average glove skills. Could player lower. Threw across the infield with 71 mph arm strength.
