A righty swinger that starts in an athletic stance. Hands stay simple during his leg kick load for timing. Downhill path with noticeable whip and bat speed. Bat speed is a well above average tool and strength isn’t far behind. Ball jumped off his bat to both sides. Arguably the most impressive round of BP we saw on the day. In the infield he plays under control with fluid feet prior to fielding. Ball skills are above average and he plays with confidence. Arm works well, showing above average strength presently with more to come with maturity. Also really impressed on the bump. Obvious athleticism out there. Works exclusively from the stretch. Lower half is efficient, creating solid momentum down the hill. Arm action is long back through a high-¾ with obvious strength. Showed a changeup but primarily works with a fastball/breaking ball combo. Fastball is heavy staying mostly true through the zone at 81-83 mph. Breaking ball has late, sharp dive producing swing and misses from hitters throughout his outing. Well above average offering.
