Starts in a narrow, tall set up at the plate. Lower half creates energy/timing through a leg kick. Barrel launches from a vertical position and takes an uphill path to the baseball. Swing plays nicely to the middle to opposite field gap. Natural tools are developing and looks to have more juice in the tank as he adds strength. Contact type guy presently. Behind the plate he starts in a very low crouch, showing flexibility to hips. Looked the part in bullpens with receiving skills. Catch and throw skills are developing across the board. Expect pop times to improve as feet get quicker and arm strengthens with maturity.
