9/24/17 A right-handed hitter who uses a simple approach mechanically. A strong kid that takes a slightly uphill path through the zone. Ball comes off his bat well and he does a nice job of staying inside the baseball. Reached base in each of his plate appearances, highlighted by a 2 RBI double. Also impressed behind the plate. In the showcase portion he flashed well above average catch and throws skills. Feet and exchange are quick and he threw with accuracy. In game he showed very impressive blocking skills and received well. A prospect who’s measurables won’t jump off the page but a solid baseball player that has a future at the next level. Home to First: 4.96 Catcher Velocity: 71 Pop Times: 2.02-2.06 Exit Velocity: 81
6/14/17 A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced, slightly open setup. Mechanics are simple, keeping his hands still during his short stride. Strong kid with a fast bat. Showed feel for the barrel consistently squaring balls up in batting practice. An all fields hitter that looks to fit in the middle of the lineup. Behind the plate he showed above average catch and throw abilities. Starts in a mid crouch and gets out of his stance well. Footwork is quick and efficient. Throws were mostly on target. In bullpens he looked to have average to above average receiving abilities. Didn’t have many chances to block but got the job done when he did. 60-yard Dash: 7.48 Catcher Velocity: 74 Pop Time: 1.95-2.02 Exit Velocity: 84
