5/29/18 A tall, long lever type with a ton a physical projection left on frame. Arm moves through a high-¾ slot with slinging action to it. Shows physical signs of more velocity to come. 7/18/17
A 6-foot-1, 159-pound prospect. At the plate he hits from the left-side, starting in an athletic setup. Hands move back during his toe turn load. Path is level and swing is compact. Bat speed is developing and is presently above average. Barrel whips through contact with authority. Gets on plane well, allowing him to use the entire field. Line drive guy who has enough strength to find the gap. Looks comfortable and athletic in the outfield. Plays through the baseball with fluidity as he transitions cleanly into hit throws. Arm has some whip to it, showing average to slightly above average arm strength. Looks to have more in the tank. On the mound, the left-handed pitching prospect brings a projectable build and solid athleticism. He works with a variety of different loads. Shows a high leg lift with a lot of upper body torque as he begins his lower body drive. Works well from the stretch and has the ability to hold runners well. Provides a dropped arm slot slightly lower than 3/4. Fastball is well located with a slight run away from right-handed hitters. The strike thrower works well when he gets ahead in the count getting to a solid secondary pitch, his curveball. Curveball shows a lot of potential with good break to it. Pitcher shows a lot of potential development to his pitches and velocity as he continues to fill out his athletic build. Home to First: 4.42 OF Velo: 72 Exit Velo: 76 FB: 73-75 CB: 65-66 CH: 69-70
