6/16/20 Pitching Scouting Notes:Winter showcase standout that showed jumps since we've last seen him. Uhlenhake has the size and velocity that will put college coaches in the stangs. The 6-foot-2, RHP has a fast/on time arm that generated a top velocity of 87 mph on his hard running fastball. Tossed a heavy dose of the heater that was on hitters hands throughout his outing. Although secondary stuff will need to continue to develop both changeup/breaking ball showed potential . Interesting arm to follow. 1/20/20 Position Player Hit: RIghty swinger with simple movements to loading sequence. Rotational tendencies to swing. Physical bat that doesn't get cheated. Has some rawness to swing but when he gets it he really gets it. Strength is obvious. Power: Gap abilities. Offensive Projection: Multiple Roles. Top Rapsodo BP Exit Velocity: 86.9 Top Rapsodo BP Distance: 327 Field: At 3B shows average footwork and actions with a well average release but throws did show good carry. Defensive Projection: 3B

Pitchability: Strike thrower for the most part.

Body Type: 6-foot-2, long limbed/projectable frame. Swing Mechanics: Balanced stance with a small leg lift load and vertical barrel launch. Hit: Physical bat with some loft. Strength plays as a well above average tool in swing. Ball came off well, working to the middle of the field. Power: Gap Abilities. 85 mph exit velocity. Offensive Projection: Middle of the Lineup potential with his physicality and ability to lift the ball naturally. Run: 7.53 60-yard dash. Field: Worked out at third base where he showed quiet, direct feet. Does a nice job playing low through fielding. Showed average ball skills. Throw: ¾ righty with some looseness to his arm. Should see more strength. Present 79 mph arm strength across the diamond. Defensive Projection: 3B.
2/07/19
Body Type: 6-foot-2, long limbed/projectable frame. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Slower paced tempo that picks up at the height of his leg kick. ¾ right-hander with some funkiness to delivery. Fastball: Very tough pitch for hitters from both sides of the plate to handle with his velocity and heavy run/sink. 78-82 mph. Curveball: 11/5 gradually breaking pitch with some depth. 65-68 mph. Changeup: Developing feel for the offering that has similar action to the fastball. 73-74 mph. Pitchability: In the zone regularly with the fastball. Secondary stuff was inconsistent. Additional Comments: Fastball is his top offering and should see more velocity down the road. If he can sharpen up secondary offerings he’s got a chance.
