8/9/15 6-foot-5, 180 pounds with a thin, projectable frame. The long, lanky right handed pitcher features smooth tempo as his arm works through a 3/4 slot. Slot allows him to get some heavy arm-side run while sitting between 83-86 mph. Breaking ball is developing as it offers gradual 10/4 movement at 67-70 mph. Also mixes in a 74 mph changeup.
6/8/15 Good tall 6-foot-5, 185-pound thin, projectable pitcher's frame. From the mound his delivery requires regular effort. During his delivery he compacts himself using a shorter, straight up and down leg lift with repeatable mechanics, landing slightly more closed keeping his momentum more towards home plate and also finishing his follow through towards that direction. I would like to see him use more of his height and striding out a little bit longer. He throws with a long, clean arm action using average arm speed through a lower ¾ slot. His fastball was between 81-83 mph. He threw his curveball at 67-68 mph with good depth at an 11/5 plane. He threw a hard changeup at 78-79 mph using fastball arm speed. During his inning on the mound he registered four ground ball outs out of five hitters he faced.
7/29/14 Tall 6-foot-5, 175-pound thin, projectable body frame. Right-handed pitcher throws from across his body, using it to his advantage providing good deception. He has a long arm action coming from a low ¾ slot with a delivery that requires regular effort. His fastball showed some natural tail movement at 80-83 mph. His curveball showed tight downward break with good deception at 68-70 mph.
6/16/14 6-foot-4, 170-pound long, lanky projectable frame. Shortstop shows descent footwork to work with, better when he is more aggressive to the ball, throws with a clean ¾ arm action at 74 mph from the infield. Left-handed hitter begins with a slightly open stance using a toe tap back to square and then using a short stride. Shows some signs of pull power which should increase with more strength to frame. Reached a top exit velocity of 73 mph. Ran a 4.58 to first base. From the mound he uses a clean long arm action with average arm speed coming from a ¾ slot. His fastball was 78-80 mph, needed to stay on top of downward breaking curveball at 63-64 mph, and threw a straight change with fastball armspeed at 69 mph.
