8/5/18 6-foot-4, 210-pound. Right hand of pitching prospect with a strong frame. Worked only out of the stretch, with a slow tempo, level shoulders, and good direction towards the play. Use a long arm action with a three-quarter slot. Fastball work mostly downhill at 64 to 67 mph. Breaking ball shows shape with gradual break 55 to 56 mph.
8/5/18 6-foot-4, 190-pound. Right handed hitting first baseman. Displayed some of the best raw power of the event registering a 97 mph exit velocity. Begins with a wide-based and a minimal load, obvious bat speed working level through the zone. Displayed good footwork around firstbase, solid hands and accurate throws registering topping at 71 mph across the diamond. Also ran a 4.75 home to first.
7/17/18 A righty swinger that starts in a wide stance. Simple load that leads to a balanced launch. Physical kid with obvious strength through the zone. Swing is compact with slight downhill tendencies. 6-foot-4 frame and ability to drive the ball with authority will be attractive to college scouts. Very loud BP. Frame plays at the first base position. Covers a ton of ground off the bag, showing more lateral mobility than frame would indicate. Ball skills are adequate for the spot. Physical right-hander on the mound with an upper 70s fastball and sharp breaking ball. Could see more velocity in there. Home to 1st: 4.81 Infield Velocity: 72 Exit Velocity: 92
5/30/18 A physical bat from the right side. Both skill set and frame play in the middle of the lineup. Swing is loose on a level path. Barrel flies through the zone with authority. Advanced strength shows up at contact as the ball jumps off his bat to each gap. Mashed a triple in game. At first base he plays under control off the bag with above average ball skills. Solid defender. Home to 1st: 4.86 Infield Velocity: 74 Exit Velocity 94
1/27/18 6-foot-4, 210 pound first basemen has a strong, physical build that produces a raw, powerful swing. From the right side, Marr exhibits great strength in driving the baseball with an exit velo of 96 mph, the highest at the event. Stance shows balance and he gets into a good launch position. His fast hands lead to a slight uphill swing path which gets on plane with pitches early and often resulting in success of consistent barrels. At first base, his defensive play is a little stiff and his footwork can be quicker and more fluid when going after balls. His hands looked good as he fielded it fine, just needs to. Across the diamond, he showed average arm strength at 79 mph and he could improve that with a shorter arm action. His size and strength will help at the next level and he has good tools for a college program
