6/6/16 6-foot, 195-pound strong frame. The righty uses a simple approach at the plate by taking his hands slightly back during his short stride forward. Even though he is simple he gets efficient use out of his mechanics. Bat gets through the zone with strength and above average batspeed on a downhill path. Produced consistent line drives in batting practice and showed his power off by hitting a homerun in game play. Topped at 88 mph exit velocity of the tee and ran a 7.39 60-yard dash. An above average fielder and thrower. Obvious arm strength with carry to his throws. Top velocity of 85 mph. Will only get better as he plays more from his toes and less from his heals. Adjustment will create more momentum through his throws and better incorporate his lower half.

Mechanically sound in the outfield he does a good job of playing through the ball and carrying momentum into his throws. He threw with accuracy and 86 mph arm strength to home plate. Ran a 4.19 from home to first.
