A fastball with hop has a flat approach angle and visually jumps through the zone. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher swing and miss average. Hop+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Sink+
A fastball with sink has low backspin and drops through the strike zone. When thrown down in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher ground ball percentage and lower launch angle. Sink+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Rise+
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
The highest Edge Score within the given year. Edge Score is a comprehensive score that takes the core-six visual skills into account, providing an assessment of an athlete’s overall visual ability.

Arm Slot
Angle of the forearm relative to the ground between maximum external rotation (MER) and ball release (BR). Which can be a powerful player comparison metric, delivered in degrees.
Knee Extension Velo
The angular velocity of the front knee straightening after foot plant, which provides indicators of velocity potential. Measured in degrees per second.
Deception
The amount of time that the ball is visible to the hitter, after the instant of front foot strike. Measures in milliseconds.
Hip-Shoulder Separation
The difference in angle of between the hips and shoulders, occurring close to the foot plant. Measured in degrees.

Physical: Athletic, proportional 6-foot, 165-pound frame with projection left. 7.03 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, shoulder-width stance, as the hands operated quietly next to the ear to begin. Utilized a controlled leg-lift stride to initiate his swing through an explosive, flat path into the hitting zone. Created quality stretch on-time before the forward move, uncoiling for a middle of the field approach with plenty of barrel control available. Active lower half that adjusts and matches plane to different quadrants, T91 mph exit velocity, and lit up the Blast Motion leaderboards with twitchy movements. An arrow-up prospect in the class.
Defensively: The primary shortstop demonstrated bouncy footwork and rounded on the ball to either side, fielding out in front with a soft glove hand. Relied on a strong arm up to 81 mph from OTT to drive accurate throws across the diamond. Spun the double play confidently using a quick trigger, and made the play on the run across his body from a lower angle.
Pitching: RHP. Started from the left corner of the mound; compact, slightly above-average pace in the delivery with ability to get extended on the front side. Delivered a 77-79 mph fastball to the bottom of the zone for strikes, mixing a gradual mid-60's breaker, still in development. Later added a killed 68-70 mph CH that faded to the arm-side.
