Delivery Notes: Once again showed impressive arm talent with combinationtio of obvious physicality to frame. Over the top reelease creates a high release with everything working downhill. Arm is clean/expect velo to continue trend upward. Fastball: Downhill, heavy pitch with regular run. Mid 80s velo. Also tosses a two sema while maintaining vel o with heavier run. Breaking Ball: 11/5 shape, tight break. Nasty when he stayed on top of it. Changeup: Developing thir doffering with fastball arm speed. Good velo difference. Pitchability: In/out.

Scouting Notes:Vastly improved since we've seen him last. Delivery has polished up a ton and stuff was live. The 2022 showed a feel for three offerings led by his 85 mph fastball. Breaking ball was very sharp at times and the changeup displayed solid sell out of the hand. Talented two-way prospect to follow. Fastball:83-85 mph. Fastball Spin Rate:1574-1708 Curveball:68-71 mph. Curveball Spin Rate:1506-1576 Changeup: 79-80 mph.

Hit:Right-handed hitter that starts in a tall, open stance. Quiet load that leads to a mostly level launch. Very physical bat with above average bat speed. Ball jumps when squared. Doesn't get cheated up there and looks to be able to barrel the ball consistently. Intriguing hit tool to follow. Power:Gap pop with some loft power. Offensive Projection: Run Producer. Max BP Exit:95 mph Max BP Distance:306 ft Field: Physical backstop with a big arm. Continues to get better everytime we see him. Showed serviceable receiving abilities with the willingness to blaock. Throw: Arm is well above average tool there. Defensive Projection: C/CIF.

2/15/20 Position Player Hit: Physical presence in the box. Movements come together well. Has improved noticeably mechanically since we saw him last. Swing shows natural lift and he was able to generate backspin to both gaps. Power: Gap abilities. Strength and speed are both well above average tools for class. BP looked louder than 82 mph exit velocity would indicate. Offensive Projection: Run producer ceiling. Field: Worked out in the outfield and behind the dish. Arm is a big tool at both spots. Corner type in the outfield with a controlled tempo and serviceable ball skills. Big target behind the dish with some athleticism back there as well. Flashed pop times below 2.0. Throw: Arm shows impressive strength. 78 mph from the crouch and 83 mph from the outfield. Defensive Projection: C/OF.

Fastball: 81-82 mph. Mostly true through the zone. Pitch works downjill. Curveball: 66-68 mph. Above average offering for class. 11/5 shape with quality down action. Changeup: Maintains arm speed on the offering that dips through the zone at 74-77 mph.
7/10/18 A right-handed hitter that starts in a tall stance. Uses a knee pinch to get lower half going as barrel flows back to launch. Mostly level path with slight downhill tendencies. Strength stands out as a well above average tool for class. Middle of the lineup frame and skill set. Worked out in both the infield and outfield. Corner type with a big arm. Behind the dish he gets out of his stance well with feet creating positive direction to secondary base. Ball comes out of hands well, throwing with accuracy to second base. Two-way prospect. A long lever type on the mound with very physical frame. Some rawness to delivery but arm strength is obvious. Gets down the mound well finishing with extension. Fastball comes through a high-¾ slot sitting 69-73 mph. Slows arm a bit on the breaking ball that has an 11/5 shape and gradual action. 60-yard dash: 8.09 Pop Times: 2.19-2.28 Catcher Velocity: 71 Outfield Velocity: 76 Exit Velocity: 65
6/27/18 Frame wise he was the most physical kid at the event at 5-foot-11, 170-pounds. Physicality shows at the plate. There are some minor path issues to clean up but the ball looked different off his bat. Verba absolutely landed on a few balls in BP, generating the most raw power we saw on the day. Power shows to pull side and oppo gap. Two-way prospect. Physical, long lever type on the mound. Ball jumps out of his hands with fastball sitting 72-76 mph. Similar to swing his delivery has some room to clean up but upside is there. Compliments fastball with an 11/5 shaped breaking ball and a changeup. Slows arm a bit on the breaker. Changeup was the better of the two, displaying run and dive at 63-67 mph.
