5/31/17 A talented young hitter that starts in an athletic, open setup. Initiates loading sequence through a leg kick load. Hands stay loose throughout pre-launch movements. Very fluid throughout swing sequence. Bat speed and strength are well above average tools for his age. Displayed gap to gap pop in batting practice, with flashes of power potential in there. Has the look of a future three-hole guy down the road. In the outfield he is very mechanically sound and move slight on his feet. Plays through the baseball well and uses a shuffle step to get momentum into his throws. Would like to see him get rid of the ball quicker. Throws were consistently on target with some carry.
