Body Type: 5-foot-11, 165-pound athletic frame. Swing Mechanics: Open stance with a smooth load into his back leg while keeping his hands loose and loaded. Hit: Level bat path with great feel in the box. Backspin to all fields. Power: 79.3 mph off the bat. Line drive pop with gap abilities. Offensive Projection: Multiple Roles. Body Type: 5-foot-11, 165-pound athletic frame. Swing Mechanics: Open stance. Smooth and fluid load into his back leg. Keeps his hands loose and loaded. Hit: Downhill bat path with a pull side approach. Natural ball flight to the middle part of the field. Power: Line drive guy who flashed some pop to the pull side. More to come as he develops. Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup guy. Field: In the infield he moves with athletic actions, covering more ground than most. Hands work well and he maintains rhythm. Solid defender. Throw: High-3/4 righty with average to above average strength. Defensive Projection: 3B/2B.

A righty swinger that starts in a tall stance. Shows a fluid back load during his small leg lift for timing. Balanced launch with a slightly downhill path to contact. Lower effort swing with feel for finding the barrel. Squared balls up consistently in BP. In the infield he plays with short, quick feet in his approach. Maintains rhythm through with the ability to create angles. Slings it across the infield with accuracy, projecting for more strength with maturity.

5/30/18
Starts in a taller setup at the plate from the right side. Uses a leg lift for timing as hands show a back load during stride. Loading sequence is fluid and efficient. A wiry strong prospect with above average hand speed through the zone. Line drive type guy who can spray line drives all over the field. Offers an above average skill set in the infield. Reacts well off the bat, moving light on his feet. Ball skills are ahead of the curve for class. Solid defender.

5-foot-10, 135 pound middle infielder provided good arm strength across the diamond at 74 mph. Dorsey had good footwork and moved with good angles to get in good position to field and release the ball. He did let the ball get deeper rather than going out to get his hop and that can be improved with repetition. Offensively Dorsey has a short, compact swing with a 73 exit velocity. He has an uphill path that did a good job getting on plane with many pitches at the event causing him to catch the barrel often. Getting extended through the baseball will help his performance too as he finishes his swing stronger. Small size right now, but has plenty of time to develop for playing collegiately.
