Scouting Notes: What stands out about Miller is how easy everything looks. Ball jumps out of his hand with almost no effort and breaking ball was very sharp. A guy to continue to keep an eye on as he hits his impending velocity jump. Fastball: 81-83mph. Fastball Spin Rate: 1922-2170 Breaking Ball: 70-72mph. Scouting Notes:Solid performance on the mound. Good athlete with an efficient delivery. Arm works well and he should continue to trend upward velo wise. Tosses two different fastballs the two-seam has some down action with the four seam playing up velo wise. Topped at 84 that projects for more. Fastball dominated in this outing but when he spun the breaking ball it looked more than playable. K'd the side in his first inning. Fastball:82-84 mph. Fastball Spin Rate:1742-1853 Curveball: 72-75mph, very sharp, well above average offering with late bit. Curveball Spin Rate:1904-2013

Worked through a middle back approach in BP, with mostly low line drive ball flight. Stay inside the baseball nicely. Under control swinger for the most part. Power: Line drive pop. Offensive Projection: Table Setter. Field: In the infield he plays with good tempo throughout sequence. Rangy defender with a smooth look to him. Ball skills are ahead of the curve for class. Power: 70 mph exit velocity. Young hitter with much more to come. Offensive Projection: TBD. Run: 8.15 60-yard dash. Field: Moves light on his feet with smoother actions. Soft hands. Looks to be a reliable defender. Throw: Developing arm strength like most prospects his age. Defensive Projection: 2B.

Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Throws with a loose arm action out of a ¾ arm slot. Nice paced tempo that flows. Follows through and gets extended well downhill with a good follow through.
Fastball: 68-71 mph. Arm-side run on it and threw for strikes.
Curveball: 66-68 mph. Developing breaking ball as he establishes a more consistent grip.
Changeup: 68-70 mph. Slight arm-side tail with some sink late. Locates it well.
Pitchability: Fastball and changeup saw more strikes with better commanding abilities. Curveball will come over time as it showed signs of life. Exerts nice intent behind his throws too.
