Started in an athletic quiet stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Has a level swing plane, efficient bat speed and balanced finish. Solid in the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 70 mph; has consistent feet, a natural exchange, and sure hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had a consistent arm action and a high ¾ slot. Recorded a time of 7.19 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, had a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows some effort. Had slight running action. (Max spin 1866; Avg 1748). His 1/7 curveball had some action. (Max spin 1681; Avg 1430).
Owen Mead: OF/LHP, (2025) Perrysburg High School, OH. 5-foot-10, 140-pound slim build. Capable during batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 76 mph. Started in a balanced tall stance with a small load, then used a short quick stride. Bat speed is average, shows a level swing plane and level finish. Found some barrels in his round. Projectable while in the infield, made throws up to 62 mph; had a fluid clean exchange, consistent hands, and average in control footwork. Solid from the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 63 mph; has a natural clean exchange, average feet, and developing hands. Movements laterally were average. Showed consistent accuracy to the base with a long arm action and a ¾ slot. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.69.
