Hit: Physical bat from the left side. Swings with intent and has the tools to do damage. Pull side approach in BP but swing is efficient enough to play to all fields. High follow in class. Power: Physical with well above average bat speed. Easy gap abilities with some loft power to pull. Offensive Projection: Run producer. Max BP Exit Velocity: 89mph. Max BP Distance: 313ft. Field: Corner skillset as a defender. Worked out at both the infield and outfield showing serviceable ball skills. Throw: Arm has above average strength for class. Defensive Projection: Corner guy.
2/09/20
2/9/20 Position Player Hit: At the plate Fogg shows a balanced setup with minimal movement. Has a somewhat flat bat path with pull tendencies. Quick hands. Power: 85 mph exit velocity. Offensive Projection: Big projectable frame. Should at least be able to develop into a true gap to gap threat. Field: In the infield he shows average feet and rhythm. Doesn’t aggressively play the ball. Throw: 74 mph across the diamond. Defensive Projection: TBD
5/28/19
Body Type: Advanced physicality for class at 6-foot-1, 195-pounds. Swing Mechanics: Tall setup from the left side. Smooth strider with back load to hands with barrel traveling to a vertical launch. Hit: Aggressive hitter that flashed electricity. Very fast bat through the zone with heavy hands through contact. All fields hitter that looks to turn on the ball and can with authority. Power: Advanced pop for class. Easy gap pop that could translate to regular power down the road. 87 mph exit velocity. Offensive Projection: Run Producer. Run: 4.72 H-1st. Field: Skill set is still developing as a defender. Looked more athletic outside of his funnel at third base. Could easily see him sliding over to first base as well. Throw: 78 mph arm strength across the infield. Defensive Projection: Corner Guy. Additional Comments: Will need to develop as a defender and the finer points in the box but tools wise the bat is electric. Don’t see many 22s with that jump off the bat, especially from the left side.
