A right-handed hitter that starts in a tall, open setup. Squares back up through a short stride. Hands move back creating balance and separation. Strong kid with above average bat speed. Ball jumps off bat. Gap to gap guy with power in there. Middle of the lineup type bat. Absolutely crushed a ball into the left-center gap for a triple in game play. In the infield he approaches with calm footwork. Slows movements prior to fielding to ensure ball security. Plays through athletically. Arm is an above average tools. Frame and skill set project him best in the corners, with enough arm to play right. On the mound, the right-handed pitching prospect brings a tall, projectable frame. Tempo starts out slower as it speed up closer to his balance point. A tall and fall guy that uses a high leg kick. Arm speed is above average which solid whip to it. Keep his arm tight through delivery and hides the ball well. Front foot lands just left of line with the plate with a slight fall off to the first base side. Fastball has has some good zip sitting between high 70’s and low 80’s. Located his fastball well as it stayed true through the zone. Used both sides of the plate and changed eye levels. Wasn’t afraid to go at hitters and work inside. Expect more velocity with maturity from the developing prospect.
