1/15/18
Ran a 7.56 60-yard dash. A right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Goes with a leg lift timing trigger while taking hands slightly back prior to swing decision. Hands have definite quickness to them through the zone as the bat travels on a slightly downhill plane. A strong kid with a line drive swing. Flashed gap pop in BP. Recorded an exit velocity of 82 mph. In the infield he plays with a controlled tempo and attacks the baseball linearly. Tends to play from heels inside funnel. Athleticism shows on the move. Tossed it across the infield with 73 mph arm strength.
1/16/17
At the plate he starts in an athletic setup and uses a leg kick to initiate his loading sequence. Hands get to a strong launch position before taking a downhill path to the ball. Would like to see him level out his path to give him a bigger margin of error in timing and increase line drive production. Has the strength and bat speed to be a gap to gap hitter. In the infield he made all the plays during his defensive evaluation. Tends to play from heels at times. Displayed solid footwork on his slower rollers.
60-yard dash: 7.58
Exit Velocity: 79
Infield Velocity: 70
5-foot-11, 160-pound athletic frame. Showed off his athleticism by running an impressive 7.18 60 yard dash. At the plate he starts off with an athletic, slightly opened stance and uses a small leg kick to squared back up. He has very minimal movement with hands to maintain a compact swing. Exit velocity was 73 mph. From the infield he throws with a short, clean arm action from a 3/4 slot with 65 mph arm strength across the diamond. Would like to see him play a little lower to allow him to get into a better fielding position.
