Hit: Upright setup from the right side. one of the higher bat speed guys we saw on the day, ramping it up to 75mph according to blast. Also an efficient mover with obvious physicality. Loud BP up to 93mph off the bat. Power: Big time pop. Offensive Projection: Middle. Field: Corner skill set. Plays with good tempo and ball skills that are solid. Could see him on either side of the infield. Throw: Projects for average to above average strength. Defensive Projection: CIF.
Delivery/Scouting Notes: Up and down actions with an arm that travels from a near over the top slot. Delivery requires regular effort. Physical presence on the hill. Fastball: Works downhill with quality sink and slight run. Breaking Ball: Sliderish look to it, darting across the zone with some depth. Changeup: Maintains most of his arm speed on the offering that has similar run/dive to fastball. Pitchability: Strike thrower for the most part.
