Works on a downward plane staying mostly true through the zone. Lives at the knees with the offering. Curveball: 64-67 mph. Spins a 2/8 shaped breaking ball that is a nice complement to the fastball. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Presented arm action that gets through his release nicely coming out of a ¾ arm slot. Tempo shown flows with rhythm in his motion. Gets extended downhill with force.
Fastball: 76-78 mph. Fastball showed off his arm strength and kept it in the zone often.
Curveball: 62-64 mph. 12-6 breaker that’s playable now as he works to get on top of the pitch as he pulls it down.
Changeup: 66-68 mph. Tailing arm-side run with sink. Best off-speed pitch.
Pitchability: Body will continue to fill out and improve arm strength and overall ability on the mound. Displayed stronger arm for his age, good mechanics and nice intent in his actions that will lead to greater progression as he continues working in his future.
