Body Type: 6-foot-2, 195-pound physical frame. Swing Mechanics: Upright stance prior to athletic loading sequence. Hit: Slightly downhill path with more physicality than bat speed at this stage. Definitely has feel for contact, squaring up the ball frequently in BP. Showed some authority with legitimate carry off the bat. Power: Upper 80s off the bat in BP with easy gap abilities. Offensive Projection: Run Producer. Run: 4.62 H-1st. Field: Versatile defender that can play both third base and behind the dish at an above average clip. Legitimate option at both. Throw: Arm works from both spots. Clean, accurate arm with above average strength. Defensive Projection: C/3B.
2/17/19
Body Type: 6-foot-1, 190-pound well put together prospect.
Swing Mechanics: Right-handed hitter that starts in a tall stance. Smooth, easy load with an athletic launch. Hit: Nice, level path with well above average natural tools through the zone. Physical kid with bat speed. Ball jumps and he has feel to both gaps. Generates natural backspin in BP. Power: 87 mph exit velocity. Gap to Gap with a couple shots that looked to have the ability to leave the yard. Offensive Projection: Middle of Lineup. Run: 7.68 60-yard dash.
Field: Above average skill set across the board behind the dish. Good athlete back there who can sling it and receive at an above average clip. Also worked out at third base where he showed some feel for the position. Good athlete that moves well laterally and can create angles. Play through with soft hands and solid ball skills. Like him more behind the dish but he’s also more than playable over at third base. Throw: 74 mph from the crouch and 76 mph across the diamond. Defensive Projection: C/3B. Additional Comments: Like the skill set on both sides of the ball. A bat that can do damage and he looks to be a legitimate option behind the dish at the next level.
7/24/18
A right-handed hitter that starts in a tall, open setup. Uses a leg kick for timing with a smooth back load to hands. Balanced launch with a level path that shows loft at times. Strong kid with some bat speed in there. High level of feel for the barrel, squaring it up consistently in BP. Very solid round displaying the ability to drive the gap. Good athlete behind the dish. Feet are quick and exchange skills are timely. Ball comes out quickly and on target for the most part. Should be a sub 2.0 guy as arm strength increases. Showed a willingness to block in game as well with a high motor back there.

R- tall, open, lk/h back, sl downhill path, strong kid with developing bat speed, ball comes off well with a more present thump to pull side, would like to see him flatten out path A righty swinger that starts in a tall, open stance. Shows a back load hands during his leg kick for timing. Path is slightly downhill with more present strength than speed through the zone. Would see added thump and more natural ball flight by flattening out path. Middle of the lineup potential.

At the plate he initiates loading sequence with a leg kick timing trigger. Barrel wraps before firing through the zone with noticeable whip on a downhill path. Strong kid with gap abilities to the opposite field. A more level path would allow him to generate true ball flight to all fields. Has the tools to hit. A third baseman that plays under control with clean footwork. Glove works well and he looks to be sure-handed. McFadden has feel for the game and his best day are ahead of him as he adds strength/twitches up with maturity.
A right-handed swinger that starts in a wider setup. Uses a knee pinch to initiate his lower half. Bat starts vertical prior to moving back to launch. Stays fluid throughout swing sequence. Path is slightly uphill with some strength through contact. Consistently produced line drives to his pull side. In the infield he does a nice job with his footwork approaching the baseball. Showed quickness to his transfer. Would like to see him play lower at fielding position. Behind the dish, he starts in a high stance with some width to his feet. Footwork is average. Hands work with some quickness to his transfer. Short arm action from high ¾ to over the top slot. Pop times ranged between 2.21 to 2.26.
