Begins in a crouched stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick, and had a level swing plane. Through the round he found multiple barrels with some loud contact. Athletic in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 77 mph; has consistent hands, a natural exchange, and athletic feet. Solid on the mound, had a short arm action and a ¾ arm angle with good arm speed. Feel type pitcher who uses some effort. Slider (73-74 mph).Sat with his fastball at 79-81 mph.

Hit:From the right side he gets things going with a leg kick timing trigger. Aggressive stroke on a level path. Batspeed and rotational acceleration are evident in swing. Landed on a few balls to pull side. Power:Pull side pop. Offensive Projection:Multiple Roles. Max BP Exit Velocity:89 mph Max BP Distance: 293 ft Field:First baseman with quick feet and above average athleticism for the position. Looks to be a solid defender. Throw:More than enough strength for the spot. Defensive Projection: 1B.
Scouting Notes:Interesting follow for class. Came right at hitters all outing with the heater, moving it around the zone. When he did show secondary it was led by the tight slider. Also mixed in a playable changeup. Definite follow who almost certainly has more left in the tank. Fastball:77-80mph. Fastball Spin Rate:1988-2107 Breaking Ball:68-71mph. Breaking Ball Spin Rate:1854-1959 Changeup: 70-72mph.

2/17/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: Smooth fluid delivery with a little hitch upon release. Violent release out of the upper ¾ arm slot. Keep the front side closed throughout delivery. Arm to watch. Fastball: True through the zone, has some zip to it at 78mph. Curveball: 11/5 break with solid depth and sharp bite at 69mph. Slider: 10/4 break, very similar to curveball. Changeup: Shows arm side depth, has potential to be an out pitch at 71mph.

Swing mechanics: Open stance with a small leg kick while keeping his hands loaded.
Hit: Level bat path with a middle-back approach. Gets inside of the baseball well and goes to all fields.

Field: Good footwork around and off the bag. Glove/hands need to continue to develop.
