2/6/19 Body Type: 5-foot-10, 150-pound prospect. Swing Mechanics: Right-handed hitter that starts in a wider setup. Shows a back load to hands during toe turn timing trigger. Hit: Slightly downhill path to contact inside a compact stroke. All fields hitter with feel for contact. Swing plays and bat to ball skills were impressive. Very solid round. Bat to follow as he develops physically. Power: 76 mph exit velocity. Line drive pop. Offensive Projection: Top of Lineup. Run: 7.41 60-yard dash. Field: Aggressive defender with athletic actions. Plays fast too and through. Confident actions. Also worked out in the infield. Good athlete with a big arm out there. Hands work well with above average ball skills. Throw: Clean, loose arm that already shows above average strength and projects for even more. Arm grades out as an above average tool. Defensive Projection: Could see him at multiple spots out there.
2/6/19 Pitching Body Type: 5-foot-10, 150-pound athletic frame with room to add. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Slower paced tempo delivery that requires some effort. Very loose arm that comes through a high-¾ slot. Athletic actions on the mound. Fastball: Pitch has some run to it with all the physical signs of more velo to come. Curveball: 12/6 shaped pitch with signs of sharpness to it. Expect it to develop into an above average offering as velocity spikes. Knuckleball: Change of pace offering that has some dance to it. Pitchability: Average. Showed command issues at times but also showed the ability to locate all three. Additional Comments: Good athlete with live arm. Follow for when he hits impending velocity jump.
2/7/18 In the infield he plays with fluid actions. Does a nice job of fielding the ball on the left side of his body prior to transitioning athletically into throws. Transfer is very quick. Arm is loose with more velocity possibly left in there. In the outfield he plays fast and aggressive. Attacks through the baseball one-handed and transitions quickly into his throws. Projects to have the arm for all three spots so how foot speed progresses will likely determine future destination. A right-handed hitter with an efficient stroke. Creates balance and separation through well timed movements in loading sequence. Finds plane well and showed a compact swing. Should have more pop as strength catches up to bat speed. Displayed line drive abilities with a gap to gap approach.
