6/6/18 6-foot, 180-pound. Right-handed pitching prospect with an average build. Slow tempo to moderate tempo delivery with an explosive lower half. Works out of a high-¾ slot. Fastball has some late life to it at 81-85 MPH. Only secondary offering we seen on the day was an 11/5 breaking ball. Geraci shows good feel for the pitch which was sharp at times.
6/21/17 A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Loading sequence is simple and efficient. Takes a downhill path to the baseball with above average bat speed. Strong kid with a middle of the lineup tools. Handles the low pitch very well. Would be aided by leveling out his path to let his impressive natural tools show more often in swing. In the infield he moves light on his feet, showing athleticism to his actions. Plays with confidence in and out of his funnel. Glove skills are well above average for his age. Ball skills remain on the move. Showed enough arm to play the left side of the infield. On the mound the right-hander has fluidity to his repeatable delivery. A drop and drive type guy that creates solid energy with his lower half. Arm action is clean and loose. Works through a high-¾ slot with obvious arm speed. Fastball has some run to it, sitting 82-84 mph. Consistently challenged hitters with the pitch and wasn’t afraid to work in. Breaking ball was very sharp with depth at 70-72 mph. Has a slider look to it and he uses the pitch to put hitters away. Changeup is playable, showing some fade to it at 77-78 mph.
1/29/17 5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect. Projectable frame with room to develop physically. Showed obvious quickness in his arm action and an athletic delivery. Throws through a low-¾ slot. Fastball has a lot of arm-side run to it topping out at 85 mph. He showed command of the pitch and sat 79-82 mph. Slider has late breaking two plane action at 68-69 mph, as he develops physically he will see an increase in velocity on the pitch. The changeup is probably his best pitch. He showed command to both sides of the plate with arm-side run at 74-75 mph. At the plate the righty starts open and uses a knee pinch to get his lower half involved. Bat gets vertical during his stride forward. Solid direction with the barrel into contact. Bat showed some quickness to it on a level path. Stays rhythmic throughout his swing sequence. Defensively, he’s got active feet with good range. Creates angles towards the baseball and shows some softness in his hands. Transfer is clean and quick. Advanced arm strength for his age with top velocity of 84 mph across the infield.
