Scouting Notes: Obvious athleticism on the mound. Arm really works and ball comes out with little effort. Not a matter of if but when more velocity arrives. Strike thrower that showed feel for his fastball/breaking ball combination. Expect everything to continue to sharpen up as he matures and learns how to incorporate that lower half more efficiently. Fastball: 82-84mph. Fastball Spin Rate: 1655-2210 Breaking Ball: 64-65mph. Breaking Ball Spin Rate: 2275-2401

Hit: Right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic stance. Goes with a smooth, simple load that leads to balanced launch. Obvious athleticism in the box. His above average bat speed (70+mph) and physical hands allow him to generate low effort pop. Solid round. Power: Easy gap pop. Offensive Projection: Multiple roles. Max BP Exit Velocity: 91 mph Max BP Distance: 320 ft Field: Well above average athlete for the third base position. Clean, fluid feet with soft hands. Throw: Arm is a well above average tool. 2/15/20 Position Player Hit: Athletic mover in the box. Intent driven stroke. Path plays. Can elevate with ease. SOlid round. Power: Obvious burst through the zone. Nice combination of athleticism and feel for contact. His ability to lift the ball makes him an extra base hit machine candidate. 91 mph off the bat. Offensive Projection: Run Producer. Field: Utility guy that looks the part in the infield and outfield. The combination of him being a 6.81 runner now and probably better down the road, combined with his arm up to 87 mph make it likely he spend time in the outfield at the next level. Throw: Arm is a big time tool. Defensive Projection: Multiple Spots.
2/15/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: Exciting mound prospect. Everything works. It’s hard to ignore the physical indicators of more velocity to come. Good athlete with a LOOSE arm. Fastball: 82-85 mph. Mostly true, occasional arm side action. Curveball: 67-69 mph. Above average offering with potential for a higher grade down the road. Changeup: Had the pitch working on this day. Solid third offering. Pitchability: Strike thrower.

Body Type: 5-foot-10, 185-pound physical build. Swing Mechanics: Right-handed hitter that starts in an upright setup. Goes with a controlled stride for timing as hands stay quiet through load and into launch. Hit: Aggressive swinger with the ability to do damage when he squares up the baseball. Stays inside the baseball well, generating natural backspin to the middle of the field. Power: 86 mph exit velocity. Swing has some physicality and hand speed. Gap to gap type guy. Much more to come as he fills out athletic frame. Offensive Projection: Run producer potential. Run: 4.44 H-1st. Field: Third baseman with an above average skill set across the board. Looks confident and athletic out there. Feet work well and ball skills are above averag for class. Throw: 76 mph arm strength across the diamond.Clean arm that projects for more strength to add to already solid arm.
Body Type: 5-foot-10, 185-pound athletic frame. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Really liked what I saw on the mound. Obvious athleticism with a very easy delivery. Arm works, projecting for more strength down the road. Top arm we saw on the day. Fastball: 77-81 mph with much more to come. Candidate for a velocity jump down the road. Fastball shows regular arm side action with occasional sink. Curveball: 11/5 shaped breaker with gradual action. Was consistently in the zone with the pitch. Slider: The better of the two breakers. A bit sharper with more depth than the curveball. Changeup: Above average offering. Pitch has a fastball look out of the hand before showing some late fade. Pitchability: Four pitch guy with feel for each of his offerings. Throws nothing straight. Role: Starter.
