2/16/20 Position Player Hit: Swings it from the left side while starting in a balanced stance, shows a back load to hands during small leg lift timing trigger. Balanced launch with a level path, young hitter with much more physical maturation left, shows present feel for barrel. Low line drive to ground ball flight. Power: 74 mph tee exit velocity, contact bat presently. Offensive Projection: TBD, young prospect who is far from physical ceiling. Field: Solid showing in the outfield, plays fast too and confident through, ball skills are on par for class. Throw: Top velocity was 79 mph to home plate from the outfield, arm really works and he should have much more in the tank. Defensive Projection: Corner guy.
2/16/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: 2024 to keep an eye on. Athletic delivery with loose whippy arm, has more in the tank right now if 79 mph from the outfield is any indication and he should only continue to trend upward as he develops physically. Fastball: 71-74 mph, mostly true, occasional arm side action. Breaking Ball: 58-59 mph, 1/7 shape, gradual action, balanced combination of depth and break. Changeup: 59-60 mph, decent sell with regular fade.
