Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Starts with a slower paced tempo that speed up during the descent of leg kick. Does a very nice job of utilizing lower half to create energy down the hill. Delivery doesn’t require much effort. Loose, slinging arm action through near ¾ slot.
Fastball: 78-80 mph. Ball comes out well without much effort. Pounded the zone with the offering, working to both sides of the plate. Can easily see him consistently being in the low 80s consistently this spring/summer.
Curveball: 67-69 mph. Spins a firm breaking ball on an 11/5 plane. An above average offering that offers both depth and sharpness.
Changeup: 69-71 mph. Very impressive offering. Maintains arm speed and puts a ton of run/dive on the offering.
Pitchability: Impressive, Filled it up with all three and he moved the fastball all over the zone.
Role: Starter.

2/14/18
A middle infielder with a second baseman look to him. Uses direct footwork in his approach prior to showing soft hands through fielding. Transfer has urgency to it, getting rid of the ball quickly and making arm play better than velocity would indicate. At the plate the lefty showed off a fluid loading sequence, incorporating a leg kick timing trigger. Hands are loose throughout load allowing barrel to maintain rhythm into launch. Bat works on a level path with noticeable barrel whip and quickness to his hands. A top of the lineup type with feel for finding the barrel and more pop than frame would suggest. On the mound the right-hander has an uptempo delivery that requires some effort. Rolls through his chest high leg lift into his drop and drive load with fluidity. Arm action is long and whippy through a near ¾ slot. Fastball offers regular run with occasional sink at 74-76 mph. Showed physical signs of more velocity to come. Changeup was very imrpessive displaying heavy sink late in the zone at 66-67 mph. Also offers an above average slider that has more of 11/5 look to it at 64-66 mph. The offering has present depth and enough action to miss barrels.
