A middle of the lineup type bat. Load is fluid and creates consistent timing. Barrel launches from a vertical position and he takes a mostly level path to the baseball. Strength is apparent in swing. Hands tend to get tied up at times, causing him to work around the baseball. Natural tools and pop were much louder when he worked freely through the zone. A bat to follow as he has potential to grow into a power threat down the road. Frame is solid for the first base position. Moves light on his feet and does a nice job creating angles on his double play balls. Very functional athletic for frame. Glove works well and he has obvious confidence in it.
