Luke Wiggers: RHP/1B, (2024) CVCA, OH. 5-foot-10, 185-pound. Smooth during batting practice, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 89 mph. Starts in a balanced stance with a smooth load, then uses a controlled toe tap stride. Bat speed was above average, had a rotational level swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found multiple barrels during his rounds. Gap to gap approach. In the infield, his position velocity was registered at 75 mph; showed consistent hands, quick aggressive feet, and a fluid exchange. Showed a high ¾ slot and a compact arm action. Recorded a 60 time of 7.44 at the event. On the mound, showed quick arm speed with a high ¾ arm angle and a compact arm action. Up-tempo type pitcher who uses some effort. Threw his fastball 77-80 mph. Had tailing running action. (Max spin 1579; Avg 1542). 10/4 sharp curveball (68-70). (Max spin 1822; Avg 1768). His changeup (75-77) shows fading action.
