6-foot-2, 195-pound righty that could benefit from physical maturity. Uses a good paced into a slight inward turn on the leg lift. Arm work well through a near ¾ slot with a loose, whippy action. Fastball has life and works to the arm side with occasional sink at 78-82 mph. Curveball has gradual break at 11/5 shape at 60-62 mph. Changeup is thrown near fastball arm speed with arm side fade at 75-76 mph. Would expect him to produce a lot of ground balls at the next level. A velocity jump would make this arm a very interesting follow. A righty swinger that starts in a tall, open setup. Physical bat with a fluid loading sequence. Offers an intent driven swing with a knack for finding the barrel. Run producer type that generates easy gap pop with emerging power. Natural tools and feel are both there. Run produce type. In the infield he attacks the ball linearly off the bat, cutting down distance prior to fielding. A good athlete over there that can move outside of his funnel to make plays. Arm is loose, projecting for more velocity with maturity.

6-foot-2, 190 pound pitcher with good size and a sturdy frame threw from an over the top arm action with some good rhythm. Jackson’s two-seam had arm side run and was the same velocity as his four-seam around 74-77 mph. He has great intent behind of each of his throws getting down the mound well utilizing his trunk. His CB was 60-63 and he can get more velocity and spin it if he doesn’t slow he arm down and try to locate it. SL sat 65-68 and moved well, but his release point was inconsistent. Has the determination, is young and showed some positive signs in ability. In the outfield he plays under control to the baseball, slowing momentum prior to fielding to ensure ball security. Frame and athleticism likely point to the corners. In the infield he worked out at third base where frame fits the spot. Footwork is direct inside funnel and showed above average lateral mobility on the move. Actions and ball skills are more impressive on the move. An aggressive hitter at the plate that incorporates a leg kick and bat tip to his loading sequence. A strong kid with twitch to his hands. Ball really jumps off his bat. A middle of the lineup guy with some of the top raw power we saw at the event.
