Body Type: 5-foot-11, 150 pound athletic frame with room to add. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: High intent delivery with fast arm action that delivers from nearly an over the top arm action. Sits into back leg before driving explosively toward home plate. Fastball: 77-78 mph. Showed life through the zone with occasional arm side run. Curveball: 70-74 mph. Developing pitch that showed 12-6 shape and late break at times. Changeup: 71-74 mph. Showed consistent arm side run and sink. Filled up the zone. Pitchability: Filled up the zone with fastball and change-up. Curveball is still developing, but showed that it could potentially be above average in the future. Additional Comments: Chance to increase velocity with increased strength and polished movement patterns along with an already high intent delivery.

Body Type: 5-foot-11, 150 pounds. Taller, thin frame with room to add. Swing Mechanics: Balanced stance that produces quick hands leading to his uphill bat path. Lower half activates well in his swing through rotation. Hit: Stroked several pitches in his round with louder contact. Stayed stronger with contact through the middle of the field. Power: 80 mph exit velocity. More to follow. Offensive Projection: Multiple roles. Run: 7.38 60-yard. Field: As an outfielder he showed a nice glove fielding the baseball. Footwork displayed well as he worked the baseball getting through it. Throw: 73 mph from the outfield and accurate. Defensive Projection: Outfield - corner.
11/10/18
5-foot-11, athletically built prospect. Under the radar arm that has a future at the next level. Very quick, clean arm with three quality offerings. Ball jumps out of his hand with fastball sitting 78-80 mph, touching 83 once. Spins the breaking ball very well at 70-73 mph. The pitch has late, sharp action on an 11/5 plane with present swing/miss to it. Also has feel for a changeup that grades out as an above average offering as well at 70-73 mph. A bit undersized but fills up the zone and throws nothing straight. Impressive outing. Two-way prospect. At the plate he has a fluid load that creates a balanced launch. Slightly downhill path with a bit more speed than strength to hands. Line drive guy with a bit extra juice to his pull side. In the outfield he plays with quick, aggressive feet in his approach. Ball skills are above average through. After his performance on the bump it shouldn’t surprise that arm plays as a big tool out there as well.
5-foot-9, 125 pound outfielder has above average defensive abilities for his class. Wingo moves very well and gets into good position to the side of ball, attacks it and takes great momentum into his throws. He recorded an 80 mph position velocity which was impressive for his size and that should only improve as he gets older and stronger. At the plate he swings it from the right side starting in a balanced setup. Barrel launches from a vertical position, taking a downhill path to the baseball. His running start with barrel allows him to create early bat speed and natural whip. A contact type bat with present quickness to his hands. Expect more pop as he adds strength to athletic frame. From the bump, the right handed pitcher throws from a ¾ arm slot. Delivery is up-tempo with a lot of effort. Stays in line with the plate through release. Utilizes all of his upper half. Fastball has a slight cut action at 76-79 mph. Spotted his target well. Curveball comes in on a 11-5 plane with gradual break at 70-71 mph. Stays on top of his off-speed well, keeping it in the lower half of the zone. Also offers a Cutter with decent side to side action. At the plate he is a contact type guy presently but has room to grow as he adds strength. Hands are quick and swing is compact. Far from ceiling as a hitter.
A contact type hitter. Takes his hands to launch during short stride forward. Loading sequence creates solid separation and give his hands room to work. Swing is compact and bat has some quickness to it. Consistently produced line drives into the opposite field gap. Uses quick footwork in the outfield and gets to the ball in a timely fashion. Plays through the ball well and uses an efficient crow hop for momentum. Impressive arm strength for frame. On the mound the righty has a solid tempo to his low effort delivery. Works through a high-¾ slot with quickness to his arm. Fastball stays straight through the zone at 70-73 mph. His curveball is his go to secondary offering. The pitch shows signs of sharpness on an 11/5 plane at 62-63 mph.

5-foot-9, 125-pound prospect with small frame. On the mound the right-hander has a slower pace tempo that requires little effort. Uses an easy leg lift, staying tall at balance point. Works through a high-¾ slot with developing arm speed. Showed the ability to locate his fastball in the zone to either side of the plate. The pitch showed slight run at times sitting 69-72 mph. Spins an 11/5 shaped breaking ball that showed gradual break at 62-64 mph. His best off speed pitch may have been his changeup at 65-66 mph. Wingo has the ability to run and cut the pitch while maintaining fastball arm speed. Defensively, he shows good anticipation. Does a good job playing the ball to the outside of his glove foot. Uses short arm action. Limited crow hop. Top velocity of 73 mph to his throws. A righty swinger with a quick bat. Creates balance by taking his hands to launch during his stride forward. Would like to see him add fluidity to his loading sequence. Path is level and swing is compact. Routinely squared balls up in batting practice.
