6/6/18
6-foot-1, 230-pound. Right hand a pitching prospect with a thick build. Uses a slow tempo delivery with a drop and drive type lower half. Uses a short arm action working through high 3/4 slot. Fastball works downhill at 83 to 85 mph with life. Curve ball has a tight short 11 to 5 break at 66 to 70 mph. Also offers a 67 to 68 mph change up that has slight run to the arms side.

5/30/18

At the plate the lefty took an impressive round of BP and had a solid showing in game. Movements are simple prior to launch as he gets to a balanced, strong position at swing decision. A run producer type who’s natural loft allows him to the lift the ball and create regular backspin. On the bump he has room to improve secondary arsenal but arm works well and ball jumps out of his hand. Sat 83-85 mph with the fastball throughout his outing.

6-foot-one, 230-pound left-handed first basemen produced one of the better swings at the event. Klingeneck has a big frame with a strong uphill swing that maintains balance and explosion. He had quick hands while staying inside and through the baseball delivering power to all parts of the field. With an exit velocity of 87 mph he drove the baseball throughout his round with a lot of barrels showing division one talent.  Natural, fluid actions at first base. Comes off the bag quick and snaps off confident, accurate throws to second base on double play balls.
