6-foot-0 and 135-pound left-handed pitching prospect with projectable frame. Gearding works at a quick pace. Uses a belt high lift and a tall and fall type lower half. Works in-line with level shoulders. Fastball works out of a low-3/4 slot with regular sink and run at 64-68 MPH. Secondary offerings are still developing. The breaking ball presently has gradual break at 53-54 MPH on an 1/7 tilt. Changeup was mostly straight sitting 58-60 MPH. Two-way prospect. A left-handed hitter that starts in a narrow stance. Uses a slight back load during his knee pinch timing trigger. Launches from a balanced position with a swing that shows natural loft. Ball comes off well, especially to pull side. A line drive type who will flash gap pop. More to come as he adds strength and twitches up. At third base he uses direct footwork, attacking the baseball off the bat. Ball skills look to be average to slightly above average for class. Actions appear much more athletic/fluid on the move. Maintains ball skills laterally and can throw from multiple slots. Also worked out in the outfield. Plays under control with adequate ball skills through fielding. A corner type with a skill set that leans towards left presently.
