7.82
Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
Body Type: 6-foot-3, 160 pound athletic frame with room to add. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Stayed tall on back leg while showing off an arm action that was fast and clean. Threw with great intent. Fastball: 77-80 mph. Plus command of mostly straight fastball that showed life through the zone. Curveball: 63-69 mph. Above average pitch that showed a sharp, 12-6 shape. Changeup: 66-68 mph. Developing pitch that showed some arm side fade at times. Pitchability: Commanded the zone with a mostly straight fastball that jumps on hitters. Curveball is a plus pitch that was commanded consistently, while the change-up is continuing to develop. Additional Comments: High follow in the ‘20 class. Frame and movement patterns project for much more velo as strength is continued to be added. Basketball/baseball guy.

Body Type: 6-foot-3 160-pound prospect with long levers and a thin, projectable frame. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Threw from a low ¾ arm slot with his long limbs creating some deception and ability to ‘get on the hitter.’ Fastball: 76-79 mph fastball was mostly true but did show some promising late life at times. Curveball: 61-65 mph breaking ball was a pitch with a tumbling type action. Changeup: 63-67 mph changeup was pretty true through the zone. Pitchability: Decent command of all three pitches. Fastball showed the most late life of his 3 pitch mix. Role: Presently projects his stuff as more of a bullpen type, but his frame and length lend itself to him having more velocity left in the tank.
