At the plate Lambert uses a toe tap load. Seems to be a guy with more projectability left. Once he’s through his load he uses a flat bat path and his barrel is in and out of the zone quickly. Swing is predominantly rotational and would benefit from keeping barrel in the zone longer. Capable defender at first base. Place off the bag under control with smooth actions. Ball skills are on par for class. Short/clean arm action with accuracy across the diamond. On the mound Lambert is a left handed pitching prospect with a thin, athletic build. He throws from a low ¾ arm slot. He delivery creates natural deception and hides the ball well. His fastball was 75-77 mph and showed some sink when down in the zone. His breaking ball was 66-67 mph and was a serviceable pitch. His changeup appeared to be a developing pitch and sat between 70-71 mph.
