USA CNT: Long arm-actioned lefty Kayden Campbell (2025, Louisville) showed below average control of an 88-91 fastball and a flat breaker in the upper-70s. From a low three-quarter release point, he struggled to find the strike zone, hitting two and walking one of the four batters he faced.

2/9/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: Campbell shows a controlled, methodical tempo to his delivery. He creates good leverage with his long levers and throws from a higher ¾ arm slot. Overall his delivery is very linear and simple. Fastball: The fastball was 81-84 mph and showed some life, particularly to the arm side. Curveball: The breaking ball showed curveball shape with decent depth at 70-72 mph. The pitch did seem to ‘pop’ out the hand at times. Changeup: Good sell on the offering that comes out of similar slot to fastball. More than playable, showing later fading action. Maintains arm speed. 72-74 mph. Pitchability: Strike thrower.
5/28/19
Body Type: 6-foot, 160-pound athletic frame with room to fill out. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: True ¾ slot with slinging arm action. Frame and arm action both indicate that any added strength will easily translate to velocity. Fastball: 77-81 mph with some arm side drop to it. Curveball: 64-67 mph with 2/8 movement. Pitchability: Above average for class. Additional Comments: Definite young lefty follow that has an impending velocity jump.
