2/04/18
A right-handed hitter that starts in an open setup. Squares back up through an aggressive stride. Hands move slightly ack to launch before taking a downhill path to the baseball. Strength and bat speed are both apparent through the zone. Room to clean up mechanically but displayed the natural tools to be a run producer down the road. A solid defender in the infield for class. Actions are smooth and glove is reliable. Moves well laterally and showcased an above average arm across the infield. Right handed arm with up tempo delivery and slight inward turn on the leg lift requiring above average effort. Arm comes through a high ¾ slot showing above average strength/speed for class. Fastball presently sits 79-80 mph. Curveball is tight with depth working on an 10/5 plane at 68-72 mph. Has a tendency to be slurvy but ability to be thrown for a strike. Changeup features down armside fade while maintaining fastball arm speed at 69-73 mph.
