1/13/19 Pitching
Body Type: 6-foot-2, 175-pounds, thin-wiry frame, overall athletic build
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Showed good athleticism and ability to use hips and lower half to generate power. Arm action a little overly compact, could potentially benefit from opening up the arm.
Fastball: T79, sat 75-78. Showed very late, sharp arm side run on the fastball.

Curveball: The breaking ball ranged between 66-70 mph. It showed tight spin and more depth than lateral break. Seemed to be its best in the 69-70 mph range as opposed to 66-67 mph.
Pitchability: His athleticism and compact arm action made Lehner inclined to be a strike thrower with both his fastball and breaking ball. Showed no issues getting to both sides of the plate with the fastball. Curveball seemed more one dimensional but still had good action and shape.
Future Role: Definitely more projection left and more velo in the tank. Profiles maybe more as a bullpen type.

1/13/19
Body Type:
6-foot-2, 175-pound long lever, athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics:
Upright/open stance. Load is fluid and athletic.
Hit:
Easy stroke with natural lift of the baseball. Sprayed it to both gaps, taking what the pitch gives him. Will ramp up intent and turn on the ball at times. Toes the line of aggressive/out of control lower half.
Power:
83 mph exit velocity. Physical kid with bat speed and gap abilities. When he stayed balanced he showed the ability to drive the ball all over the yard. More juice to come.
Offensive Projection:
Run Producer
Run:
4.37 H-1st
Field:
++ skill set for position. Brings unusual athleticism to the spot with impressive ball skills. Makes it look easy over there.
Throw:
75 mph from 1B. Well + average arm for position.
Overall:
Really liked what I saw from Lehner. Left/Left,  very functional athletic kid with efficient actions on both sides of the ball. 6-foot-2, stick with potential to be a high level defender at first base. Any added strength will easily translate to measurable bump across the board with his mobility and efficiency. Good player.

2/14/18

A first baseman with the frame for the position. Plays off the bag with smooth feet and adequate lateral mobility. Ball skills are above average for the position. Arm is loose, projecting for more strength down the road. A left-handed hitter that starts in a wider setup. Hands move back to launch during his controlled stride forward. A fluid swinger with feel for finding the barrel. Path has natural loft allowing him to lift the baseball naturally without sacrificing natural tools. A bit stronger than he is fast with the bat presently. Showed pull side tendencies in BP. A middle of the lineup candidate as bat speed comes along with maturity.

Infield Velocity: 70

Exit Velocity: 85
