12/2/18
Right handed hitter at the plate, Turner starts in an open stance from a wider set up than most. He uses a small leg kick to initiate his load. He showed good bat path that was consistently on plane with the pitch. He also showed quick strong hands. College level hit tool. At third base he play under control fielding from heels at times. Offers capable ball skills. Flashed the ability to create angles, especially outside of funnel.

5-foot-11, 185-pound. Right-handed hitting third baseman. Small kick to initiate the lower half, hands start low and are quick through the zone. Line drive type swing, producing an exit velocity of 82 mph. Shows good hands in the infield, moves well laterally to glove side. Slower release reaching 68 mph on his throws. Also ran a 4.81 home to first.

1/15/18

Ran a 7.61 60-yard dash. A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Turner showcased an impressive combination of tools and feel at the plate. A righty swinger that finds plane well with obvious bat speed through the zone. Barrel accelerates through contact with easy, generating regular back spin to both gaps. Present gap pop with more to come as he matures physically. Top exit velocity was 85 mph. At third base he uses sound footwork to create angles prior to fielding. Glove is an above average tool and he transitions smoothly through fielding into throws. Threw across the infield with 78 mph arm strength.
