5-foot-10, 145-pound prospect. On the mound, the righty starts squared to the plate. Uses small rocker step into big leg kick. Tendency to collapse a bit on his backside and drive off of it. Fastball is thrown through high ¾ slot with short arm action. Occasional cut to his fastball. Slider has some late life to it at 70 mph. Also mixes in a 69-70 mph changeup that was typically straight. Starts in a balanced setup at the plate. Bat starts vertical, giving him natrual whip through the zone and early bat speed. Lower half is simple mechanically. Upper half dominate hitter that has some quickness to his bat. Showed the ability to use both sides of the field during batting practice. Defensively, he projects as a second baseman at this stage. Shows the ability to make plays to his left and his right. Transfer has some quickness to it. Arm action is long and through ¾ to high ¾ slot. Needs to continue improving arm strength to stay on the left-side of the infield at the next level.
