Body Type: 6-foot-3, 220-pound physical frame. Swing Mechanics: Simple and smooth load into lower while keeping his hands back Hit: Level bat path that creates plus bat speed. Natural tools are obvious. Power: Ball jumps off his bat to the pull side and he can spray it to the opposite field gap. Constant extra base hit threat. Offensive Projection: Middle of the lineup guy. Field: Frame for the first base position. Plays with feel. Solid defender. Throw: Arm plays at the position. Defensive Projection: 1B.

6-foot-3, 210 pound physical first basemen showed soft hands defensively fielded it well. Feet performed well displaying nice movements for his size in getting off the bag when turning two. Attacks the ball with intent. Recorded a 78 mph throwing velocity across the diamond to third. An upside bat with run producer qualities. Load is fluid and efficient putting him in a strong launch position. Path has natural loft to it allowing him lift the ball with ease. Hands show advance strength and the ball really jumps when he makes flush contact. Generated some of the top raw power at the event.
Top tool is his bat. Run producer frame and skill set. Load is fluid prior to taking a slightly downhill path to contact. Ball jumps off barrel with the present ability to leave the yard. Ideal frame for the first base position. Gets off the bag well and has feel for the spot. Ball skills are on par for class as well.
Ran a 4.75 from home to first. A middle of the lineup type bat from the right-side. Frame is strong and projectable at 6-foot-2, 210-pounds. Does a nice job of incorporating his lower half in his swing and takes a slightly uphill path to the baseball. Strength stands out at contact as his barrel gets through the baseball with ease. Drove the gaps regularly in BP, showing flashes of loft power to his pull side. Tied for the top exit velocity on the day at 88 mph. Frame is an ideal fit for the first base position. Gets off the bag well and has feel to his footwork. Hands are soft and ball skills are above average for class. Should grow into an above average defender at the spot.
