Joe Schwark: SS/RHP, (2022) Saint Ignatius, OH. 5-foot-8, 162-pound. In the box, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 85 mph. (69.30 mph bat speed average). (22.34 mph hand speed average). Begins in an open stance with a controlled load, then uses a leg kick. Bat speed was developing, had a rotational swing plane and level finish. Gap to gap approach. Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 79 mph; showed consistent hands, a clean exchange, and rhythmic feet. Had a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. Recorded a 60 time of 7.41 at the event. On the mound, showing quick arm speed he had a compact arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Sat with his fastball at 70-74 mph with a max of 76 mph; shows arm side control and tight action with sharp movement. (Max spin 1692; Avg 1605). Shows a 11/5 curveball (63-66) with gradual action. (Max spin 1624; Avg 1613).

Threw his fastball 70-74 mph with a max of 76 mph; shows arm side control and tight action with sharp movement. Shows a 11/5 curveball (63-66) with gradual action.
Scouting Notes:Two-way prospect. On the bump he works with a slower paced tempo that doesn't require much effort. Filled up the zone with a fastball/curveball combination. Expect easy velo increases as he fills out that athletic frame and breaking ball should add sharpness to an already good moving offering.
