6/6/18 Really like Joe as a prospect. Type of guy that grows on you the more times you see him. Very athletic kid with a physical frame. At the plate he uses a simple yet efficient load that creates both balance and separation. Path is level with both bat speed and strength grading out as above average tools. Frame and skill set plays in the middle of the lineup. Athleticism really shows at third base. Moves well in and out of funnel, maintaining rhythm through fielding. Glove is an above average tool and arm plays on the left side. 60-yard dash: 7.43 Infield Velocity: 79 Exit Velocity: 83
2/11/18 On the hill the right-hander has fluidity to a delivery that requires little effort. Tosses an easy 78-80 mph fastball that looks to have more velocity to come. Puts good spin on the breaking ball that shows present depth with enough action to miss barrels. Consistently threw the offering in the zone at 67-71 mph. Offers a changeup, showing developing feel for it at 72-73 mph. A third baseman with smooth, athletic actions. Hands work well in and out of his funnel. Times feet up well to maintain rhythm through fielding sequence. Could eliminate extra step as he gets into his throws. Well above average defender. At the plate he uses a slight back load during his fluid, controlled stride forward. Path is slightly downhill with the barrel getting in and out of the zone quickly. Strength and bat speed are both above average tools with strength being slightly ahead of speed presently. Controls the barrel well and can use the whole field. Present gap pop with more left in the tank. Can easily see him ending of in the middle of a lineup.

7/5/17 A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Gets things going with a leg kick load. Uses an easy hands back load with his upper half. Path is level to slightly downhill with impressive strength through the zone. Ball gets off his bat well, showing present gap pop. Much more juice to come with maturity. At third base he uses short, quick footwork approaching the baseball. Actions are more athletic and fluid on the move. Hands are soft and glove skills are above average. Showed obvious feel for the position. On the bump the right-hander brings a physical, athletic presence. Mechanically clean and arm works. Arm moves through a high-¾ slot with well above average arm speed. Ball gets out of his hand well and fastball gets on hitters quicker than velo would indicate. Spins a sharp, 11/5 shaped breaking ball. The pitch had depth and swing and miss to it. Also showed a playable changeup, maintaining fastball arm speed.
