10/14/18
Unsigned southpaw with upside on the bump. Uses a smooth, consistent tempo to delivery. Compact, clean arm through a near ¾ slot. Delivery requires some effort. Fastball works downhill, showing slight arm side action at times. Sat 78-80 mph in the outing with signs of more to come down the road. Fastball plays up due to length/release point, getting in on hitters hands all day. Primary secondary offering looks to be the changeup. Does a nice job maintaining arm speed on the offering that has some late dip to it at 72-73 mph. Although he looks to be more comfortable with the changeup the slider was pretty good. The pitch is tight with late action across the zone at 70-71 mph. In general, there are some things to clean up but with his frame and current arm strength he will find a home at the next level. Dominated in his outing, striking out his fair share and producing consistent weak contact.

6/6/18
6-foot-4, 205-pound. Left-handed pitching prospect with a big frame. Moderate tempo delivery with a tall and fall type lower half the requires minimal effort. Uses a short arm action working out of a high three-quarter slot. Fastball says 76 to 80 mph working downhill with regular cutting action. Offers a big 1 to 7 curveball that presently has gradual break at 58 to 61 mph. Also offers a sinking change up the stone with fastball like arm speed at67 to 69 mph.

2/4/18
6-foot-4, 200 pound left-handed pitcher has a big, physical frame with overall good mechanics. Middendorf throws with an over the top arm action and gets some good arm side run out of his 78-80 mph FB. His back leg fires well in his delivery after he gets into strong throwing position at foot strike. His CH was 68-71 and had okay movement that can be enhanced with speeding up his arm through delivery. SL at 66-70 with great run and plus command. Projectable body that will do fit in well at the next level.
1/27/18

Very interesting mound prospect. The southpaw has an ideal frame at 6-foot-3, 195-pounds. Delivery has fluid tempo without a ton of effort. Arm actions is loose with noticeable whip. Fastball comes through a high-¾ slot at 79-81 mph. Velo will climb. Slider has more of a breaking ball looked to it with some depth at 68-71 mph. Changeup displays late dive at 69-70 mph. A guy to keep an eye on as velo progresses.

1/15/18

A left-handed pitching prospect with a projectable frame. The southpaw has an uptempo delivery that requires little effort.Transitions smoothly from his chest high leg lift into his load. Arm action is longer, generating developing arm speed. Offers a three-pitch mix through a high-¾ slot. Fastball sits 74-78 mph, staying mostly true through the zone. Spins a gradually breaking, 1/7 shaped breaking ball at 57-58 mph. The more developed of the two offerings looks to be his changeup at 67-69 mph. Maintains arm speed and puts late fade on the pitch. A strike thrower in general that was in the zone with all three offerings.

1/22/17
On the mound the southpaw has a slower tempo to his low effort delivery. Stays tall as he gets to his balance point and lands in line to home plate. Working through a near over the top slot he sat 74-78 mph with his fastball that had run at times. His best offspeed pitch is his 1/7 shaped breaking ball that has sharp action to it, coming in at 63-65 mph. Showed good feel for the pitch and was consistently in the zone. Also flashed a changeup at 67-70 mph while maintaining fastball arm speed.
