SS/OF, (2023) Upper Arlington, OH. 6-foot-1, 195-pound projectable build. Projectable advanced during batting practice, Hayek had an exit velocity of 90 mph. (74.2 mph bat speed average). (20.0 mph hand speed average). Began in an open crouched stance with a smooth rhythmic load, then used a leg kick. Had an uphill swing plane, explosive bat speed and high finish. During his round he produced a lot of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Aggressive approach. Smooth advanced while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 84 mph; has smooth in control feet, next level hands, and a quick clean exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic quick. Showed consistent accuracy to the base with a very quick loose arm action and a high ¾ slot. Clocked a time of 7.01 in the 60-yard dash. 

 SS/OF, (2023) Upper Arlington, OH. 6-foot-1, 190-pound solid mature build. Solid at the plate, the left-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 93 mph. (70.8 mph bat speed average). (20.0 mph hand speed average). Starts in a crouched open stance with a controlled load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed is quick and shows a level loose swing plane. Found multiple barrels during his rounds. Aggressive up the middle approach.  (Max spin ; Avg ). 

James Hayek: SS/OF, (2023) Upper Arlington, OH. 6-foot-1, 185-pound. During batting practice, the left-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 91 mph. (62.7 mph bat speed average). (20.4 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a quick load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed was quick, used a simple upward swing plane and high finish. In the infield, displayed a velocity of 80 mph. Solid from the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 86 mph; had rhythmic footwork, a clean exchange, and soft hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Had a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.23.  

6-foot, 175-pound projectable frame. Above average in the box, the left-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 83 mph. Begins in a wide stance with a quick load, then uses a toe tap. Had an upward level swing plane, above average bat speed and high finish. Found multiple barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. While in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 77 mph. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.19.

Hit:High follow in 2023 class. Like the combination of physicality and handspeed from the left side. Stays inside the baseball well, spraying the ball to both gaps with consistent backspin. Type of swing that should translate well to game. Talented bat.
Power:Gap to gap pop.
Offensive Projection:Multiple roles.

Field:Versatile defender who showed athleticism/arm strength in both the infield and outfield. Solid defender.
Throw:Above average strength for class. Very accurate.

2/17/20 Position Player
Hit: High follow in 2023 class, athletic mover in the box with a level path, fast bat with strength through contact, ball comes off well and he utilizes both gaps, generates natural backspin, only going to get better as strength arrives.
Power: 82 mph tee exit velocity, flashed gap abilities, much more to come. 
Offensive Projection: Multiple roles.
Field: Talented defender that can play multiple spots with his combination of athleticism and arm strength potential, feet work well and he can create angles, grades out higher as an infielder presently but that bat will keep him in the lineup and he’s more than serviceable in the outfield.
Throw: Top infield velocity was 72 mph across the diamond and top outfield velocity was 79 mph to home plate, clean arm with higher velocity ceiling.
Defensive Projection: UTL.

Body Type: 5-foot-9, 135-pound athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics:  Left-handed hitter that starts in an athletic stance. Quiet hands during leg kick timing trigger.
Hit: Compact stroke with loose hands that generate natural whip. Catches the ball nicely out in front of home plate, leading to easy lift. Swing is efficient and can use both sides of the field with a bit more present pop to pull.
Power: Line drive pop with more to come.
Offensive Projection: Table setter.
Field: An aggressive defender in the infield that plays fast. Feet work well, doing a nice job of creating angles for some rhythm in his play through. Looks to be a sure-handed defender.
Throw: Long back arm action with some jump out of the hand.
Defensive Projection: Multiple Spots in the infield. 

Body Type: 5-foot-8, 130-pounds with average, athletic build

Hit: The LHH gets off back side well. His hands stay inside and swings with authority. Has athletic movements in his load and has good rhythm. He has plus swinging mechanics with natural loft

Power: Gap to gap, opposite field hitter

Offensive Projections: Top order (72 exit velocity)

Run: 8.11 (60-yard dash)

Field: From SS, he displays good footwork with decent glove work. Transitions are clean and throws with a low/mid ¾ slot. Tends to play a little high but plays through the ball well

Defensive Projection: 2B

5-foot-3, 108 pound right handed pitching prospect has a tall, lanky build to him. He throws out of a ¾ arm slot with average mechanics while producing an even tempo throughout his motion. Finish was taller at the end of some releases. Fastball sat 65-68 mph with arm side run and nice command. His changeup was thrown at 62-64 mph with glove side run and kept it low. Offensively this left handed hitter has a level bat path that made nice contact during his round. Lower half is developing in generating energy. Showed average power. Exit velocity was 64 mph. In the infield he displayed quick feet and soft hands. Plays low through the baseball with developing ball skills. Middle infielder skill set who’s arm strength will likely determine which position he ends up at.
