2/18/18
5-foot-11, 165 pound infielder showed an average glove defensively fielding back in his stance. Feet worked well taking good angles while attacking the ball. Threw it 79 mph across the diamond with a longer arm action and release. A righty swinger that starts in an athletic setup. Goes with a fluid leg kick for timing and energy. Hands stay simple prior to accelerating the barrel through the zone on a mostly level path. Swings is compact and he has above average feel for the barrel. Quicker than he is strong with his hands. A contact type guy who would be a top of the lineup candidate.
60-yard dash: 7.30
Infield Velocity: 79
Exit Velocity: 82

1/20/18

On the hill the right-hander starts with a slower tempo prior to picking the pace up at balance point. Delivery has some effort and he works through a near over the top slot. Fastball works downhill, cruising at 78-80 mph. Can generate arm side action on the fastball. Leading his secondary repertoire was his 11/5 shaped breaking ball. The pitch was sharp, displaying developing depth at 66-70 mph. Also offers a changeup, near fastball arm speed at 70-71 mph. Changeup is a well above average offering. A right-handed hitter that starts in a wider setup. Load is simple and repeatable. Uses a short stride for timing while taking hands slightly back to launch. Strength is apparent at contact with above average bat speed through the zone. Tends to get to front side before swing decision a times. Natural tools are well above average for class. Potential to grow into a run producer role. In the infield he gets out of his stance well, showing a quick first step. Does a nice job of creating angles prior to fielding. Hands work well when he fields on the left side of his body but can get around the ball early at times.

60-yard Dash: 7.48
Infield Velocity: 78
Exit Velocity: 86
6/15/16
5-foot-11, 148-pound thin, frame. Ran an impressive 4.38 from home to first. Starts slightly open at the plate and uses a short stride to get back to even. Hands stay simple before taking a short compact path to the ball. Line drive type hitter that consistently found the barrel in batting practice. Bat gets flat a little early which limits explosiveness. Top exit velocity was 76 mph. His best tool in the infield is his arm as he showed off 79 mph arm strength across the infield. Average glove skills at this stage. A two-way prospect that works through a high ¾ slot. Offers a three pitch mix. His fastball sat 76-77 mph with slight run. Spins an 11/5 shaped breaker with gradual break. Also mixed in a changeup near fastball armspeed. Strike thrower.
