6/19/185-foot-9, 180-pound southpaw with a physical build. Very fluid rhythmic delivery that flows from start to finish. Uses a high leg kick that requires some effort. Arm action is short before coming through ¾ slot. Fastball ranges from 72-76 mph with some natural lefty movement. Fills up the zone. Curveball is a big 1/7 bender with gradual break at 60-62mph. Changeup has some of the same arm side movement as the fastball at 68-69 mph. The better of the two secondary pitches. A lefty bat that starts in a balanced stance, Hands stay simple during his short stride for timing, A strong kid with above average bat speed through the zone, Ball jumps off barrel. Finds the gap with ease and can use both fields with backspin. Solid round of BP, taking one of the louder ones we saw. At first base he gets off the bag well while maintaining control. Ball skills are adequate for the spot.
