Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
Body Type: 5-foot-10, 155 pound athletic, projectable frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Showed a polished delivery with a good lower half load and loose arm action. Landed slightly open at foot strike.
Fastball: 71-74 mph. Mostly straight. Plus command.
Curveball: 62-63 mph. 11-5 shape with decent depth. Good command, but not swing and miss yet.
Changeup: 64-67 mph. Showed some arm side fade and filled the zone up.
Pitchability: Filled the zone up with all three pitches. Showed the ability to throw secondary offerings for strikes at any time.
Additional Comments: Shows room to increase velocity with increased strength and intent in delivery.
2/17/19
Swing Mechanics: Upright stance from this righty in the box. Shorter loading process with an uphill path. Lower half progressing in ability to generate energy through rotation.
Hit: Overall made nice contact. Harder contact shown as he sent pitches to the opposite field with some middle play.
Power: 78 mph exit velocity. More left in his tank.
Offensive Projection: Multiple roles.
Run: 7.26 60-yard. Field: Glovework presented has playable actions as he works through the ball more efficiently. Footwork is continuing to developing as he approaches the baseball. Ability is there.
Throw: 76 mph from the outfield. Defensive Projection: Outfield - Corner.

5-foot-10, 149 pound outfielder with a small build showed a solid glove defensively fielding it well and coming through it with momentum on his throws. Feet worked nicely and still showing signs of developing in breaking down to field the ball sooner. Nice arm strength with a throwing velocity of 74 mph. Starts in a wider stance at the plate. Goes with a small leg lift for timing, barrel starts and launches form a vertical position, path is in and out creating some inconsistencies in barrel strike. Would be aided by a more level path. Ball comes off really well when he caught the ball out in front of home plate. Barrel shows some whip through the zone. A contact guy in general with some added thump to pull side. On the bump the right hander throws slightly up tempo. Uses a high leg kick to generate forward momentum. Throws from a ¾ arm slot. Gets on top of the ball well. Fastball stays relatively straight sitting 69-70 mph. Curveball breaks gradually up and down 12-6 coming in at 58-61 mph. Mixed in a second curveball (knuckle curve) with little spin but similar break to his normal 12-6. Also offers a changeup to mix up the pace at 61-62 mph. Offering shows late drop. Similar arm speed on the pitch. Kept his pitches in the lower half of the zone.
60-yard dash: 7.54
Outfield Velocity: 74
Exit Velocity: 72

5-foot-8, 135-pound prospect with small, thin frame. On the mound, he throws from a high ¾ slot with average arm speed for his age. Tendency to land closed at foot strike. Slow, mechanical pace to his delivery. Fastball was straight at 66-68 mph. Showed command of a 55-56 mph breaking ball with gradual 11/5 action. Still developing feel for his changeup, which sat at 55-56 mph. At the plate, he swings from the left side. Starts in an athletic stance with choppy type rhythm to his swing. Backside tendencies in his swing. Will be aided as he physically matures. Top exit velocity of 67 mph. Ran a 7.3 60-yard dash.
12/11/16
The 5-foot-7, 120-pound right-handed pitcher was up to 75mph with his fastball. Delivery is very fluid requiring little effort. He showed confidence in all 3 of his pitches and had plus command. Fastball sat 67-69 mph with run at times. Breaking ball came in at 60-63 mph on an 11/5 plane. Was able to maintain his arm speed on his 57-58 mph changeup. Ran a 7.63 60-yard dash. At the plate the lefty gathers his weight through a backwards step prior to his stride forward. Weight tends to stay on back leg causing an uphill path and inconsistencies in contact. Would be aided by transferring weight into contact to level his path and let his natural strength and bat speed be incorporated more consistently. Reached a top exit velocity of 75 mph. In the outfield he has solid reactions off the bat and gets to the ball in a timely fashion. Ensures fielding the baseball prior to throwing to home plate with 71 mph arm strength.
