Delivery/Scouting Notes: 2022 arm out of Carroll High School. Works out of a sidearm slot that he has feel for. Three-pitch guy who showed the ability to locate the entire arsenal. Slot makes him a tough matchup for righties.
Fastball: Deceptive pitch considering slot and regular sink, run.
Breaking Ball: Slurvish look to it with more horizontal than vertical action.
Changeup: Changeup is an above average pitch. Good sell with similar run/sink to fastball.
Pitchability: Strike thrower.
Hit: Uses a double tap timing trigger to get lower half involved. Smooth stroke with a slightly uphill path. Physical kid with above average bat speed. Ball comes off well.
Power: Gap to gap.
Offensive Projection: Middle of lineup.

1/20/20 Pitching
Delivery Notes: Showed a methodical tempo to his delivery and threw from a ¾ arm slot. Somewhat lunges toward home plate with his lower half. Would benefit from sitting into his back hip more during his delivery.
Fastball: Fastball wsa 72-74 mph was mostly true through the zone but did show some late life at times.
Fastball Spin Rate: 1500-1700
Curveball: Overhand type curveball was 60-62 mph and shows potential to develop into a quality offering.
Curveball Spin Rate: 1200-1400
Changeup: Changeup was 65-67 mph with some fade to the arm side.
Pitchability: Overall showed three pitches that had quality action on them. Mix could develop into an above average mix if he adds velocity.

Body Type: 5-foot-11, 195-pound physical frame.
Swing Mechanics: Vertical barrel launch with a leg kick for timing.
Hit: Slightly downhill to level stroke with some whip through the zone. Swing offers a balanced combination of strength/bat speed. Had some inconsistencies in barrel accuracy but ball comes off well when squared.
Power: 73 mph exit velocity. Line drive pop.
Offensive Projection: Ball Mover.
Run: 8.05 60-yard dash.
11/18/17
On the mound, the right handed pitcher displays efficient use of his lower half creating momentum and direction towards the plate. Displays some quickness in arm speed as his fastball sits between 72-74 mph. Also mixes in a 64-65 mph slider that shows some sharpness in break. At the plate he swing it from the right side. Starts in a nice, balanced setup prior to his leg kick timing trigger. His vertical barrel launch gives him natural whip through the zone and also allows him to create early bat speed. A strong kid with more juice to come as he matures. Showed present gap pop in BP and reached a top exit velocity of 76 mph. In the outfield he looked under control in his approach. Plays through the baseball with adequate glove skills. Threw to home plate with 74 mph arm strength.
