Body Type: 5-foot-7, 115-pound prospect. Swing Mechanics Left-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Very simple approach mechanically. Hit: Level path with some lag through the zone. Young prospect with developing natural tools. Possesses feel for the barrel just needs to mature physically. Bat to ball skills are there. Power: 67 mph exit velocity. Line drive guy. Offensive Projection: Ball Mover. Run: 7.83 60-yard dash. Field: In the outfield he plays under control to and smoothly through. Ball skills are above average for class. Fundamentally sound. Throw: Very clean arm with developing strength and present accuracy. Defensive Projection: TBD. Functionally athletic to play all three.
2/6/19 Pitching
Body Type: 5-foot-7, 115 pounds.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Produces a higher ¾ arm slot showing longer arm action that can improve in fluidity. Tempo is slower but remains consistent throughout his motion.
Fastball: 60-66 mph. Straighter movement on it currently. Finishes high in the zone with strikes.
Curveball: 51-55 mph. Arm speed can improve with this pitch as he slows it down to aim it. Will be more effective as he just lets it go.
Changeup: 52-55 mph. Still developing yet playable. Some dive to it late but working on grip.
Pitchability: Off-speed pitches he will improve upon as he gets older and fills more into his body. Lefty has four years to improve his craft so give it time.
Role: TBD.
